About CDSMartin Iliffe, Managing Director and Clive Johnson, Technical Director formed Complete Detection Systems Ltd in 1988, to provide a fire alarm service in an efficient and friendly manner within the commercial, health and local authority sectors. Together with Tony Mikunda, who joined the company in 1993 as Sales Director, they have a wealth of experience in the Fire Alarm industry, much of it gained by working for Gent Ltd., one of the largest manufacturers in the UK. Over the years the company has enjoyed considerable success and now employs approximately 30 permanent members of staff, including service engineers, electricians and administrative staff. Complete Detection systems is based in Leicester, operating along the M1 corridor between Nottinghamshire down the M1 Motorway to north London, with home based engineers placed throughout this geographical area. The company now supplies Analogue Addressable Fire Alarm Systems, Conventional Fire Alarm Systems, Emergency Lighting Systems and Nurse Call Systems to Health Authorities, Local Authorities, Businesses, Airports and Universities. Some of our current customers include Luton Borough Council, Nottingham Trent University, Leicestershire County Council, Bedfordshire County Council (Mouchel Parkman), Lincolnshire County Council (HBS), Leicester City Council, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Leicestershire Police Authority, Nat West Banking Services,Milton Keynes General Hospital, De Montfort University and Bedford University. Complete Detection Systems The company offers the complete range of services including supply, installation and commissioning of a complete projects. They are also proud to offer unrivalled service with regard to customer breakdowns including a 24hr 365 day call out service and comprehensive maintenance packages to suit all applications and budgets. All engineering staff are directly employed by Complete Detection Systems and we do not operate a Sub-contract policy for any work associated with maintenance and service of Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting. Gent 24 Elite Systems Integrator We are an approved Elite Systems Integrator for Gent by Honeywell who are one the UK’s leading manufacturers of Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting equipment. In order for CDS to become a Systems integrator we have had to meet a strict code of compliance and undergo a continual assessment by Gent by Honeywell in order to establish continuity in our work standards and also to ensure that CDS is kept fully up to date with current legislation and any changes to standards and procedure. CDS quality and certifications We are proud to announce that our Quality Management System has been assessed by SIRA Certification Service and that we have been awarded ISO 9001:2000 – Certificate number 062252. We are currently being assessed for BAFE accreditation SP203 CDS is entered on the Data Protection Register – Reg Number Z7561744. |
