Our technical staff have unrivalled experience of emergency lighting projects, being able to design bespoke emergency lighting systems to achieve BS5266 Pt 1 : 2005 certification. We are able to provide a complete service from self-contained and slave fittings to large systems. CDS are expert in the design and supply of Central Battery Systems. The testing of luminaires can be a time consuming and costly business, particularly in larger premises. Part of BS5266 is the regular maintenance and testing of emergency lighting products. With a central battery system all the testing can be controlled in one place, cutting down ongoing costs. The batteries in a central system can have a design life of up to 25 years as opposed to self contained fittings which need changing every 4 years. CDS is an authorised distributor of Gent Emergency Lighting products, the Security Lighting product range and also Jalite Fire Safety signs.
