Current Vacancies Internal Sales Engineer – Leicester Office BasedThe role includes the designing and estimating of system installations, project pricing and providing technical support to our team of external sales engineers. Experience of electrical estimating and fire alarm detection systems including CAD work is essential. You must have a hunger to develop your commercial and technical skills. You must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude and have the ability to carry out works on own initiative. Duties & Responsibilities:
- To extract information from Technical Design Drawings to turn into quotations
- Quote for Fire alarm and Emergency Lighting Systems
- To ensure work instructions are obtained from main contractors for additional work and passed on to office/accounts for necessary invoicing
- Assist with method statements and risk assessments if required
- Ensure all new quotations are delivered within the time frame and as per company standard
- Ensure the costs of installation fall within the company profit margin
Candidate & Qualifications: - Essential knowledge of the Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting industry (BS5839 and BS5266)
- Proficient with Windows Operating Systems
- Excellent Understanding of the Microsoft Office range of software programs
- Good Understanding of technical design drawings
